Growing up in the Washington, D.C. area, I was exposed to great portraiture. This had quite an impact on me. We had a formal family portrait done. I was fascinated by the process and the result.

I studied Photography in Boston. After graduating from a two year professional program, concentrating on portraiture and fine art photo, I shot fashion and portrait in Boston, as well as some product for Ecommerce.

My early influences were Karsh, Avedon, Hurrell, Leibowitz, and Bailey. That list has grown, considerably, over the years.

After 3 years, as a freelance in Boston, I moved to Stockholm, Sweden, and continued shooting fashion, as well as portraits for several signed music acts.

After returning to the States, I continued portraiture for some musicians, and expanded into doing headshots for some local actors, and portfolios for aspiring models.

Now, I am based in Vancouver, and plan to continue with headshots, portraiture, and fashion photography.
